Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khalid Battal Al-Najim, the President of University of Anbar in coincidence with the 30th anniversary of the founding of the university and the 97th of the founding anniversary of the courageous Iraqi army, the president of the university opened on Wednesday, 3th of January, 2018 with the presence of both the Vice-president of scientific affairs and administrative affairs, deans of colleges and managers, teaching staff and students a cultural and artistic festival at the university hall for student activities. The Women's Affairs Committee had a great participation through the establishment of a bazaar for handicrafts and an exhibition of graphics.

Anbar University Participates in the Iraqi Police Celebrations on the Occasion of its 103rd Founding Anniversary. In a move that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between educational and security institutions in Anbar Governorate, the College of Science, represented by the Women's Affairs Unit and college students, participated in the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police. This participation came to confirm the important role played by the security forces in maintaining security and stability in the country, as students presented flowers to the Iraqi police in appreciation and appreciation for their great role in protecting the homeland and the citizen.
