University of Anbar Organizes a Workshop on Encouraging Women's Participation in Elections
The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Political Science organized an awareness workshop entitled "Encouraging Women's Participation in Legislative and Local Elections."
The workshop focused on the importance of women's role in the political process, both as voters and candidates.
The workshop also included a review of the constitutional and legal frameworks for women's participation, along with a discussion of the most prominent social and cultural challenges that hinder their effective engagement in electoral life.
This workshop is part of a series of awareness-raising activities aimed at empowering women and activating their role in public affairs
