University of Anbar Organizes Seminar on Literacy in Rural Communities
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education/Al-Qa’im organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Literacy Between Challenges and Opportunities in Rural Communities.”
The seminar highlighted the main challenges facing literacy efforts, such as weak educational infrastructure, social traditions, and living standards, in addition to reviewing the opportunities available to improve the educational reality through governmental and community initiatives as well as modern technologies.
The seminar emphasized the importance of developing clear strategies and effective partnerships to achieve sustainable educational development in rural areas.
This event comes within the framework of implementing the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, under the Protection and Prevention Pillar – Paragraph One
