 University of Anbar Organizes an Online Awareness Lecture on Women’s Right to Participate in Elections

 
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Women, University of Anbar, organized an online awareness lecture titled “Women’s Right to Participate in Elections”.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness of the importance of women’s participation in the electoral process, considering it one of the most prominent manifestations of equality and social justice.
It also addressed the historical dimensions of women’s involvement in public life, highlighting influential female leadership figures, and emphasizing that ensuring this right requires ongoing efforts in awareness-raising and community support to strengthen women’s presence in decision-making positions.
This lecture comes within the framework of implementing the Third National Plan on Women, Peace, and Security, specifically under the pillar of Reform and Institutional Participation – Paragraph Three
