University of Anbar Organizes Online Awareness Workshop on Nuclear Radiation
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Women, University of Anbar, organized an online awareness workshop under the theme “Avoiding the Dangers of Nuclear Radiation,” with the participation of several faculty members and students.
The workshop focused on raising awareness of the risks associated with nuclear radiation and methods of protection, as well as safe handling of radioactive materials. It also emphasized the vital role of women in addressing these challenges and contributing to sustainable development.
The event aimed to instill environmental and health safety principles and promote a culture of prevention within the university community, in line with modern awareness standards.
This activity falls within the framework of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security – Protection and Prevention Pillar, Paragraph Three – which focuses on early warning, and the teaching of civil defense principles and first aid
