From Hope to Success: Girls Defying Circumstances to Achieve Their Life Aspirations

The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Anbar, organized a discussion session titled “From Hope to Success: Girls Defying Circumstances to Achieve Their Life Aspirations” as part of the Recovery Pillar within the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security.
The session featured real-life stories of girls who faced personal and societal challenges and managed to overcome them with determination and hope, emphasizing the vital role of psychological and community support in empowering women and girls.
The event witnessed active participation from students and staff inside and outside the college, and included interactive discussions that fostered a spirit of inspiration and motivation.
The session concluded with a set of key recommendations, including: promoting a spirit of positivity, sharing inspiring experiences, and believing that hope is the first step on the path to success.
