  the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Management and Economics held a scientific symposium titled Climate Change and Its Impact on Women - The Marshland Women as a Model on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:00 PM via Google Meet The symposium discussed the impact of climate change on women, especially in the marshlands, which are sensitive and threatened environmental areas. It highlighted the difficulties faced by marshland women due to climate change, such as drought, water scarcity, and environmental degradation, which affect their livelihoods and traditional roles. The symposium also examined how women, in particular, are affected by these changes since they rely on natural resources to carry out daily tasks. Additionally, it addressed how these circumstances exacerbate their economic and social suffering, underscoring the necessity of adopting policies and projects that support this group in facing the challenges arising from climate change.

Anbar University Participates in the Iraqi Police Celebrations on the Occasion of its 103rd Founding Anniversary. In a move that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between educational and security institutions in Anbar Governorate, the College of Science, represented by the Women's Affairs Unit and college students, participated in the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police.
