Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Esmat Ramzi established a women’s empowerment unit in the College of Science, in cooperation with the Physics Department at the college. An awareness campaign about sustainable development and environmental pollution
The campaign included posters showing students’ awareness of sustainable development and the goals of sustainable development in achieving food security, reducing poverty and hunger, overcoming the effects of climate change, and preserving water resources.
The campaign also included the distribution of paper publications that included the definition of environmental pollution, its types, the causes of environmental pollution, and the duty of every individual to protect the environment, urging students to preserve the environment through the correct use of natural resources in order to live in a clean environment free of pollution.
