  The Women’s Empowerment Unit in the College of Science held a scientific symposium in conjunction with the National Initiative to Support Energy and Reduce Emissions entitled ((Pollution and Sustainable Development)) on Monday, 12/4/2023, in the Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall. The symposium included the following topics:

1.Environmental pollution and its impact on climate change.

2. Microbial contamination of food

3. Methods used to combat and reduce pollution

The symposium was attended by a number of teachers and students. The symposium received great interest from the attendees due to the importance of the issue of sustainability and environmental pollution, which is largely caused by humans and the damage to natural phenomena and their continuous depletion without taking into consideration the future of generations. Sustainable development is a term that was recently launched to preserve the environment from Pollution and not harming nature due to the occurrence of many environmental problems that have increased recently, and that development is the only way to get rid of pollution that occurs at very high rates in non-developed countries and take it away. This also relates to the issue of microbial contamination of food and the lack of good use of it and knowing how important it is to health. human beings and use them in good ways

Anbar University Participates in the Iraqi Police Celebrations on the Occasion of its 103rd Founding Anniversary. In a move that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between educational and security institutions in Anbar Governorate, the College of Science, represented by the Women's Affairs Unit and college students, participated in the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police. This participation came to confirm the important role played by the security forces in maintaining security and stability in the country, as students presented flowers to the Iraqi police in appreciation and appreciation for their great role in protecting the homeland and the citizen. During the celebration, brochures were distributed about the Iraqi police and the history of its establishment, in order to enhance awareness among students about the importance of this security apparatus in the history of Iraq.
