 “The Session of Faculty members of Women at University of Anbar on July 17th 2017”

In the presence of the President of University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najim, and under the slogan “For Al-Anbar, we meet for progress” was held in the hall of Prof. Naji Tawfiq in the presidency of University of Anbar in its alternative site in Baghdad.

The session was attended by Mrs. Kulshan Kamal, the director of the Women's Support Fund in the Middle East, Dr. Zina Mohammed Al-Sabti, Director of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation at the University's Presidency, and Professor Dr. Nasra Ahmid Jadoua, Dean of the College of woman’s  Education as well as a large number of women faculty members, scientific and administrative departments at the University of Anbar.

At the meeting, ‘the President of University pointed to the great role played by women in Iraqi society in general and in educational institutions and universities in particular, pointing out that the presidency of the university has activated and promoted the role of woman in the university’.
On the other hand, Mrs. Kulshan confirmed the existence of cooperation between University of Anbar and Woman’s Support Fund to establish many initiatives and activities to support the woman and activate its leadership role.

Anbar University Participates in the Iraqi Police Celebrations on the Occasion of its 103rd Founding Anniversary. In a move that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between educational and security institutions in Anbar Governorate, the College of Science, represented by the Women's Affairs Unit and college students, participated in the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police. This participation came to confirm the important role played by the security forces in maintaining security and stability in the country, as students presented flowers to the Iraqi police in appreciation and appreciation for their great role in protecting the homeland and the citizen. During the celebration, brochures were distributed about the Iraqi police and the history of its establishment, in order to enhance awareness among students about the importance of this security apparatus in the history of Iraq. For his part, the Dean of the College of Science sent a message of thanks and appreciation to the members of the Iraqi police, praising their heroic role in maintaining the security of the homeland, stressing the importance of cooperation between educational and security institutions in building a safe and prosperous society.
